Physical Layer Security of Spatially Modulated Sparse-Code Multiple Access in Aeronautical $Ad$-$hoc$ Networking

چکیده

For improving the throughput while simultaneously enhancing security in aeronautical ad-hoc networking (AANET), a channel quality indicator (CQI)-mapped spatially modulated sparse code multiple access (SM-SCMA) scheme is proposed this paper. On one hand, we exploit joint benefits of spatial modulation and SCMA for boosting data rate. other physical-layer secret key generated by varying SM-SCMA mapping patterns based on instantaneous CQI desired link. This guarantees AANETs, since not exchanged between source aeroplane its destination. Due to line-of-sight (LoS) propagation AANET, aeroplanes or eavesdroppers may detect signals delivered However, they are unable translate detected into original confidential information, even if copies recoined over hops because have no knowledge CQI-based pattern. The performance CQI-mapped evaluated terms both bit error rate ergodic secrecy rate, which substantiates that secures information exchange multi-hop AANET.

Broadcasting in Ad Hoc Multiple Access Channels

We study dynamic broadcasting in multiple access channels in adversarial settings. There is an unbounded supply of anonymous stations attached to the channel. There is an adversary who injects packets into stations to be broadcast on the channel. The adversary is restricted by the injection rate, burstiness, and by how many passive stations can be simultaneously activated by injecting packets i...

Trust On the Security of Wireless Vehicular Ad-hoc Networking

Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANET) security is one of the central issues in vehicular communications since each vehicle has to rely on messages sent out by the peers where the received message could be malicious. In order to protect VANETs from malicious actions, each vehicle must be able to evaluate, decide and react locally on the information received from other vehicles. In this paper, we anal...

Authentication in Ad hoc Networking

Authentication is an aspect of communication network security that deals with ensuring that the principals with whom one interacts are the expected ones. Informally, authentication allows the receiver to verify that the claimed sender really sent the data. Authentication inherently secures other aspects of ad hoc wireless communication such as freshness, availability, integrity and confidential...

Security for Context-Aware ad-hoc Networking Applications

With the rapid spreading of ubiquitous computing applications, the importance of security concepts coping with their needs is also growing. While the possible application areas are so vast that one all-purpose security middleware fitting all the different needs seems impossible to realize, it is undoubtedly meaningful to have security frameworks covering the needs of as many applications as pos...

Aeronautical Ad Hoc Network for Civil Aviation

Aeronautical communication systems are constantly evolving in order to handle the always increasing flow of data generated by civil aviation. In this article we first present communication systems currently used for en-route aircraft. We then propose Aeronautical Ad hoc NETwork (AANET) as a complementary communication system and demonstrate its connectivity and assess the throughput by simulati...
